Ways To Buy Quality Product at a Cheaper Price

It has come to time of the year where I'm on a tight budget and finding ways to buy something that I want without spending a fortune. Last year I bought a VS 1800w Hair Dryer for only RM 20 ..... did you belive it ? Normal price cost around RM 120. ....
Have you notice how much points you have from your credit card or member card ? Do you know what you can do with the accumulated points ?
For credit card accumulated points, I normally exchanged the points with cash / gift vouchers from my favourite retailer i.e. Jusco, Watsons, Guardian , Parkson , Padini .... basically those big corporation that have variety of products that I can choose from. For me cash / gift vouchers are more practical as normally the validity of the voucher is 1 year and you are able to wait and see until its the right time to use the voucher. I normally will choose the product that I am not willing to pay full price or even discounted price. I will also choose those product that I have not used before and interested in trying out.

Recently I have exchanged the points that I have with a RM 50 Padini gift voucher. I keep the voucher in my wallet for nearly 1 month before it's the right time of using it. So, when its the right time ? .........  Of course it's during the time when the SALE going on. Then you are able to buy it at a more cheaper price .
I wanted to change my wallet for quite some time as its has already worn off, although I only use it for 2 years.
Padini are having a 3 days special storewide 50% off from 30 Nov - 02 Dec 2012. I went to shop around and manage to get wallet that I have been eyeing for 50% off. So I take this opportunity to make good use of my gift voucher
This is the wallet the I bought. The original price is RM 89.00
The original price of these earings is RM 21.00
The discounted price of the wallet is RM 44.50 and the value of the gift voucher is RM 50.00, so I need to find another item to fully utilised the voucher that I have. So I end up geting this earing for RM 5.00.
The total bill
This is only an example of ways you can do to buy or indulge on something that you really want without scarificing anything. Hope this can help you. BTW it took me years to save up the points that I have and I'm not encouraging you to spend on your credit card in order to get the points.
