Actually at the begining of this year, I already looking forward ending this year. Frankly speaking it has been a tough year for me.
At the begining of this year, the fortune teller told me that this year will be a tough year fo rme. Indeed, she is right, work & personal life for 2012 has been tough.
There is a lot of things happen to me this year. On the bright side, although it has been a tough year, there is also a lot good things happen to me this year. I went to 2 countrys this year for holiday, Bangkok and Sydney. I also change my job and my car this year.
Although the fortune teller told me that this year will be tough, during this 12 months try to proved her wrong, try to live my life to fullest , grab every chance that I was given.
As much as I get this year, I also hurt myself badly.
Year 2013 is coming, I have given myself new resolutions. New challenge is waiting for me and I will gladly accept it.

Dish Of The Day - Homemade Popiah
Making popiah at home is my family tradition and its time consuming as
it involved a lot of work, that why I only make it once a year. Maybe
next year I will make 2 times.
Its also my family tradition to serve it with ginger tea.

Ways To Buy Quality Product at a Cheaper Price
It has come to time of the year where I'm on a tight budget and finding ways to buy something that I want without spending a fortune. Last year I bought a VS 1800w Hair Dryer for only RM 20 ..... did you belive it ? Normal price cost around RM 120. ....
Have you notice how much points you have from your credit card or member card ? Do you know what you can do with the accumulated points ?
For credit card accumulated points, I normally exchanged the points with cash / gift vouchers from my favourite retailer i.e. Jusco, Watsons, Guardian , Parkson , Padini .... basically those big corporation that have variety of products that I can choose from. For me cash / gift vouchers are more practical as normally the validity of the voucher is 1 year and you are able to wait and see until its the right time to use the voucher. I normally will choose the product that I am not willing to pay full price or even discounted price. I will also choose those product that I have not used before and interested in trying out.
Recently I have exchanged the points that I have with a RM 50 Padini gift voucher. I keep the voucher in my wallet for nearly 1 month before it's the right time of using it. So, when its the right time ? ......... Of course it's during the time when the SALE going on. Then you are able to buy it at a more cheaper price .
I wanted to change my wallet for quite some time as its has already worn off, although I only use it for 2 years.
Padini are having a 3 days special storewide 50% off from 30 Nov - 02 Dec 2012. I went to shop around and manage to get wallet that I have been eyeing for 50% off. So I take this opportunity to make good use of my gift voucher
This is only an example of ways you can do to buy or indulge on something that you really want without scarificing anything. Hope this can help you. BTW it took me years to save up the points that I have and I'm not encouraging you to spend on your credit card in order to get the points.

Paradise Dynasty Restaurant in Paradigm Mall
I was alone in Paradigm mall wondering around, I'm not in a good mood and needed some comfort food.
Then I came across this restaurant, with "expensive" outlook and dark interior. Double check on my wallet, then went in. Actually I was captured by the variety of xiao long bao that they have.
Other than 6 "biji" of xiao long bao, I also order a bowl of pork noodle ... ( sorry I forgot the actual name of the noodle)
The soup was hot enough to warm my stomach and make me feel better. The noodle was al dente ( to my liking) .The egg was exactly like those egg in Japanese Ramen .. the yolk was 50% cook while the egg white was full of braised soy sauce flovour ... love it !
They have lots of variety of xiao long bao, but my opinion is if you want normal xiao long bao then I would suggest "Ding Tai Fung Restaurant " as it is more cheaper and equally delicious. But if you want variety then try out this restaurant

Pancakes on The Rocks in Sydney
Hi everyone, just got back from my trip to Australia ..... I have been missing in action for the past 1 - 2 months .... now I'm back with lots of reviews coming up ....
My first stop to Australia is in Sydney .... For a Malaysian to Australia ... my opinion is that the food portion is Australia is really big ... for a mighty eater like me when I say its big, its really big ... so you really need to find someone to share your food .
One of the restaurant that I visited is this restaurant .... Pancakes on The Rocks .... The pancakes are those American pancakes where they are really thick and spongy. Their bacon is more saltier compare to the Malaysian one and their sausages is not nice either .... their pancakes is served with a "ice-cream" scoop of butter .... which you really need to be careful. The restaurant is quite and its relatively dark as there is not much sunlight in the shop . Compare to other restaurant waiter/waiteress, their service is good but not much smile on their face .... maybe they are tired as this restaurant opens 24 hours ......
Do try out this restaurant .. if you want some classic pancakes breakfast .... do try out this restaurant....
Sorry that there is no picture this time as I'm filming home video at that time.

![]() |
| This is for 2 person that comes with 2 types of noodle. |
We order our food for 2 person that enough to feed 3 persons. We will surprise to see that the seafood is fresh and it's really value for money. The soup was charged separately. We order Milky Fish head soup. I need not manage to take the photo as we are so hungry and we want to dig in as soon as the food reach us.
This meatball is additional order. Look at how fresh the food is, I did not touch up the picture ... what you see is what you get.
Do visit this steamboat restaurant, if you are steamboat lover like me ... They will never dissapoint you.

"Simple" Skincare for Sensitive Skin
My Skin has been really sensitive lately, there is dry patches under my eyes, red patches on my cheek , and some unknown "biji-biji" thing on my face that look likes unripe pimples but its not pimple .... I think I am allergy to Hydraulic Acid as I am trying out some skincare product that contains high Hydraulic acid.
so I decide to stop all my current skincare and head out to get this moisturiser, as I still need it for day and night. As I already have a sample size of their toner, so I decide to get only the moisturiser.... to my surprise, my skin gets better and I get my glowy skin back. I use this in day and night , it does not give me the sticky feeling and it does not make my skin oily especially during day time.
I totally in love with this product, hope that u guys can give it a try !

Buffet steamboat restaurant One O One Hot Pot
Yet another Steamboat buffet in Melaka. They have another shop opening soon in Kota Laksamana .... the one that I went is in Taman Malim Jaya.
As usual this place is pack with people during mealtime ... so to avoid the crowd, need to be there early
The price is RM 19.90 per person .... we order 2 flovour of soup for 4 person ... the abalone soup is normal and the tom yam soup is slightly better than Restoran Wonderful Steamboat Buffet At Kota Laksamana, Melaka.
Variety of food .. herbal eggs, yam rice which my father said it's nice, nyonya kuih ( which they never refill once they are finish especially the mini fruits tarts which I like... ) sushi ... ( don't know the taste as did not want to fill myself up with rice) ... ice cream and beverages ( no ice cube available for soft drinks as they are not cold enough)
When we are picking out the food, we realise that there are some food for barbecue but we could not find where to barbecue until we leave as you need to barbecue at the doorstep of the shop ... this is the thing that we don't like as nobody introduce us as all the waiter are so busy .....
This solely my opinion ..

O.P.I vs Faceshop Nail polish
I happen to have a tiny size of O.P.I nail polish. I think its the orginal one as I get it from a reliable source. My favourite nail polish has always been the Faceshop nail polish. The nail polish from O.P.I is relatively tinner than Faceshop, that forces me to put at least 2 coats unlike Faceshop where I can get away with 1 coat.
I painted the O.P.I nail polish on my toe nail ans it last only for 1 week until it start chipping. The Faceshop nailpolish can last me 2 weeeks without chipping.
Sometimes doesn't mean its branded than its a good thing.
P/S; Faceshop currently have promotions where they are selling at RM 12 for 3 polishes.

Pearl Cafe at Taman Melaka Raya
The dish that I want to introduce today by this cafe is Spagetti Nyonya Laksa. This is a place that I use to go for lunch if I happen to have the time. I use to order their rendang rice or their chicken chop rice with thai sauce as they have promotion set that comes with a drink.
For 3 consecutive time I saw the same woman ordering the same food that is the Spagetti Nyonya Laksa. I decided to give it a try as I don't feel like taking rice that day. It turns out to be magnificent ... I never thought that Spagetti can go well as laksa. The time and the heart they put, is clearly shows in the bowl of laksa. Give it a try, although that it's not cheap .... for lunch standard ... but with the air-cond evironment you can give a try. This is in their lunch set the laksa and a drink cost RM 11.90 not include service tax.
